ABOUT LAUREL:

A life-long passion to help others inspired my initial career as an elementary school teacher.  I love children.  Encouraging kids to acknowledge and honor their emotions was the most rewarding aspect of teaching for me. In fact, it motivated my master’s degree in counseling.

I have helped thousands of clients develop transformational and self-empowerment skills in seminars, groups and individual sessions throughout the years.

An extensive background in energy work training such as:  Massage Therapy, Reiki, CranioSacral and Healing Touch, among other modalities, has deeply enriched my ability to work with clients energetically in multiple and unconventional ways.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling.  In 1998, I became a Certified Hynotherapist.  I am also EFT Certified, (Emotional Freedom Technique).  Combining Hypnosis with EFT makes a unique and powerful therapy. I also earned a certification in Art of Feminine Presence in 2013.

There’s nothing in life that brings me more joy than looking into your eyes when you experience the love in your own heart.  There are no words to describe this feeling.  The closest I can come is being honored and grateful for my ability to witness this miracle…

Just In case you are curious and want to know more about me –my courage and my perseverance against all odds…

  • I’m not short on courage. In fact, my ex once told me that I have more guts than brains.  I took it as a compliment.  Not sure he meant it that way…
  • In the summer of 1987 I packed my car, strapped my bike on back and headed from Minneapolis to Virginia Beach, Virginia to begin a new life. I knew no one in town, had no contacts, no job and $2000 to my name.

I chose Virginia Beach because it is the Edgar Cayce Foundation Headquarters.  I wanted to be a part of this spiritual community.  The Edgar Cayce readings had initiated my spiritual awakening and I wanted more…

In hindsight, I believe this was a guided move.  My life in Virginia Beach has opened me in countless ways to deepening my spiritual journey and nurturing kindred-spirit friendships.

I’m pretty happy that I have more ‘guts than brains’….
